"Waverley" is the oldest Waverley Class yacht.
This is a golden opportunity to purchase a living classic yacht in superb condition.
Built to a design by John Wylie she has been successfully sailed and raced for over 120 years.
Sailed initially from County Antrim Yacht Club at Whitehead, then Ballyholme Yacht Club and more recently with the rest of the Waverley fleet at Strangford Lough Yacht Club at Whiterock.
An excellent club racing yacht.
"Waverley" has undergone major refit works over the years most notably in 2018 where master craftsman and shipwright Ricky le Bloas at Ardglass dropped the keel, replaced all the keel bolts, took the hull back to the bare wood, filled and faired the hull and redecked her using Burmese teak stripped planking and attractively caulked in white to a very high standard.
She is gorgeous and put in commission annually professionally by shipwright Maurice Smith for the current owner.
A great package not to be missed.
