Only the best of material used in the construction of "Betsinda".
Hull above the waterline Honduras Mahogany.
Hull below the waterline Teak.
All carvel planked and copper fastened to sawn oak frames.
Sawn oak and bronze strap floors across the centreline.
She has an external lead keel which is fastened with bronze keel bolts.
She has an oak backbone,stem and stern post with elm deadwoods.
Deck is teak laid, screwed and glued. The subdeck is marine ply which is laid over the original pine deck on oak deck beams.
The coachroof deck is epoxy sheathed tongue and grooved planking.
Covering board,toerail and capping rail are all varnished teak.
