We have known Glance and her last 4 owners since the 1950's.
Built by Luke's Boatyard in the Hamble, South of England 130 years ago, she has stood the test of time.
Thanks to her excellent construction of Pitchpine on oak below the waterline and Teak on the topsides. Thanks also are due to her many owners down the years who have lavished love and care and multiple refits.
"Glance" won her class in the Fastnet races of 1953 and 1955.
She has more recently been extensively cruised on the West Coast of Scotland and down to Brittany.
Her current owner has owned 'Glance' for 25 years and while she needs of a little cosmetic work to the brightwork is presented for sale in seaworthy condition and good heart with a comforting 2024 dry Survey Report!!
